advantages and disadvantages of wrist braces or support gymnasts?
im involved in gymnastics and almost everyone has braces (not teeth braces), but as ankle braces, wrist braces, elbow, knee ... but what are the advantages and disadvantages of braces ...... as we were told that once you start using wrist braces you have to use them for the rest of his career in gymnastics, because if you remove your ... your body is so used to the support you will brake your wrists. im asking this because my 11 years old teammate a pain in the wrist when it never falls. she wants to start using tiger's paws, but it means she would have to continue to use them forever ... I think braces must be worn if it is nessessary and there is pain, otherwise it is almost useless. I used wearing tiger's paws for a year or two to the gym and then I stopped and my hands were fine, so I think your mate would nessessarly to wear them forever. She should wear them if they really wanted to help the wrists.
