Blue Great
What kind of great dane do you get if you breed a mantle great dane with a blue great dane?
Basically a blue great dane with all the variables that exist in the black mantle great dane. I'm not an expert on the AKC requirements but I do understand genetics. The mantle colored patter could be reproduced in many colors if it were desired What would be expected is periodic blue probably show up without even bred to the black mantle since blue is the closest color to black on the color pattern chromosome, mutations of it would be expected the most frequent of any other mantle color pattern. But the so called mantle pattern could be bred in a variety of colors.
