I have a Canon A-1 camera with lens. Is there a digital camera body that will work with my Canon lens?
I have a Canon A-1 camera body with lens. Can I get a digital camera body that will work with my Canon lens? Or do I have to go out and buy a digital body and (more) camera lens too?
No, in 1988, Canon made all those excellent FD lenses obsolete when they introduced the EOS system. While in the late 1980's and early 1990's there were some very expensive adapters, they did not allow the older lenses to focus at infinity and of course the added optics in the adapter reduced the resolution of the lenses.
Many of us who had Canon's at the time, either slowly moved over to the EOS system or took that opportunity to switch to Nikon.
