why does my monitor stay black when i turn on the tower?
when i turn on my computer the monitor stays black. i can hear the computer make it's noise when it starts but the monitor remains black.
the tower beeps once but the monitor stays black. if i turn the monitor on and off, i turn it back on and a little blue screen comes on with "power saving" in it. what can i do?
If PC does not give the SINGLE OK BEEP, it is not really booting at all, thus no display on monitor.
Try resetting CMOS through jumper switch or by removing CMOS battery for at least 30 seconds.
