Why do I get nightmares after a tough gym workout?
I train for strength at the gym, mainly lifting big weights, compounding exercises etc. Naturally afterwards I am tired and get a bit of d.o.m.s. When I sleep in the evening after a heavy workout I seem to have very vivid dreams, nightmares etc. Why is this? I think it might be something to do with testosterone increases or because im so tired I go into a different sort of sleep pattern?
it might be a drop in your blood sugar. are you eating well after a workout?
