At what age should kids start strength training?
At what age should kids start strength training?
i'd say the earliest should be about 15
some kids who are naturally broad and bulky i guess can start from 14 but usually 15
I'm in grade 12 and we had a discussion about this in my fitness class and the thing is, if they start too early, later on they will develop stretch marks on their skin and those won't go away. There are actually several prime example of people in my school who started in grade 8 (age 14) and are already seeing stretch marks and improper posture because they started working out too early. Then you have those like me who actually started in Grade 9 (age 15) but who are perfectly fine.
