Can I stand taller by doing Pilates?
I've read that some Pilates and stretching exercises stretch out your spine and elongate the cartilage between your spine thus adding an inch or two. I'm 24 and I'm 5' 3.75" and I'd like to stand like 5' 4" or 5' 5". My husband is 6'4"!!! Do you think this might help?
Anyone out there that has had a positive experience with this??

I can see someone actually standing taller (an inch or maybe two), after doing pilates!...
But, it's because it helps with your posture!... You'll be standing more straight....
If you have a tendency to hunch over, you will reduce your actual height. Hence, by standing more straight (more erect), you will have an actual height measurement increase!...
But, to claim that pilates will actually increase the thickness of your cartilage (which would be the only way to increase your stature by way of your cartilage), is INSANE!!!...
