Fitness Gloves
I need a boxing fitness routine ...?
Someone give me some form of effective routine to build muscle, aerobic and anaerobic ...? I am not overweight, but I want to build muscle (not to be huge - I'd weight - just to be cut) and get in great shape. I did not butt, I would appreciate any butt-specific exercises, and ab-work. The equipment I have is a heavy bag (and gloves, of course), a traction bar, skipping rope and medicine ball (5kg I think). I am currently swim 5 times a week, so I have strong enough shoulders and that are clean, but my leg muscles are lacking, and I love the feeling of punching things! Also, could you help me with the specific technique for the shots? I fear that I am currently doing it wrong because my fingers often hurt after ... Will improve over time? Should I punch less hard? I would really appreciate if you help me with this! Cheers
You would be surprised, but the main reason boxers have that body, because they do not have much body fat, which means they are much cardio (running, jumping rope, etc.). A good boxer will integrate routines or weight based on weight, but rather natural exercises such as pumps and sit-ups (and even then the ground work is just absolutely mandatory situps). A well-trained boxer also spar as much as possible, as you sparring prepared as nothing else can. One of the most important things that are overlooked by many is shadowboxing. Shadowboxing is the size, heavyweight guys like Floyd Patterson and Mike Tyson put his hand up and quick combinations as hell. Without the resistance of a bag or the impact of hitting an opponent fist and stop your combination of flurries is shadowboxing with your combinations that puts you on the road to be as fast as you can be. How many boxers or fighters do you know which approach shadowboxing as a serious training? None of those who want to be taken seriously. Here my personal program I did (and never really had time to do so for more than three consecutive days) for myself based on other routines professionals, and talk on the phone with Kevin Rooney, from time to time. My advice is to take it and move things, increase or decrease the repetitions your preferences and mess with it to make it work for you. Morning from Monday to Friday (06h00): Stretch - 5 minutes jog 3-5 miles. Eat breakfast. Go back to bed. Noon (12:00): Stretch - 5 minutes Shadowboxing - 10 minutes Sparring - 10 laps Brief Bag - Bag of 10 minutes Speed 10 minutes in the afternoon (18:00): Stretch - 5 minutes Punch mitts and Protection Corps - 10 minutes a double-end bag - 10 minutes heavy bag - 10 minutes of floor work (in the circuits of 5): - 100 Sit-ups (20) - 100 Abs (20) - 100 Oblique sit-ups (20) - 100 push-ups (20) - 100 Dips (20) of neck - 10 minutes Jump Rope - 10 minutes to Medicine Ball stomach and ribs - 5 minutes at night: ( 21.00): Stretch - 5 minutes Bike Ride - 30 minutes more importantly, eat well. None of this will only work if you do not eat right.
