Can i wear two rubber bands on my braces at night to pull my teeth quicker?
I have braces and my orthodontist just gave me rubber bands to pull up my two bottom teeth, she said to wear them 24-7 besides eating for 2 weeks. Is it ok to wear two rubber bands on at night and still wear them in the day? or can i cause more damage? I just thought by adding two bands on at night it might move my teeth quicker is this ok to do?
Do what your dentist wants you to do. Your teeth are suppose to shift according to your dentists instructions. If you shift them too much too fast, you may do more damage than good. If you want them to be straight, permanently, then you need to be patient & listen to your dentist, after all, he did go to school for this!
