Foundation agility work, not obstical training!?
Not any obstical training, BUT any non obstical foundation agility training i could do with my pup?
I heared Greg Derretts foundation vid is good, what stuff does he tell you about?
Any other tips for foundations for a good bond and strong foundation BEFORE doing agility...
How can i make sure my pup has more of a bond with me than my other dogs? How much 'freetime' should they have playing together? Thanks x
A good solid foundation in obedience (including "side" heeling - i.e. on your right side) comes first. Then, work on contact zones using a wobble board. You can also work on target training, tug play, etc. As for the "bonding" - sorry, I can't help you there - but if you work with your pup for a few short sessions every day, you should be fine!
Clean Run magazine is running a series called "Spy Kids" - training an agility dog from a pup. See if you can get the back issues - it's a great resource!!
